Watercolour ~ Mini Landscapes

                   Mini Watercolour Landscapes

Large water colour painting require a lot of skill, patience and precision. It helps (especially me) to practice smaller sized paintings first, before attempting more challenging ones. Here are 3 of the mini landscapes I painted :

1.  Stars and a minor magellanic galaxy in space.

Tip : Make the complete background first, then add water to create the white space for the galaxy.

2. Pond-side house

Tip : Alternate making the grass with a lot of water, and very little water. While making the reflection in the pond, make sure to blur the ends of the grass, to make it look more realistic.

3. A bridge on a Sunset background.

Tip : Make sure your entire sheet is wet before adding any paint on it. Use a clean, flat brush for each colour and while merging.

Please note that none of the pictures can be used or distributed in any way, they are actual paintings, by me.
